ISLAND BLUE
Island Blue tells the magical adventure of Valentine, a 9-year-old boy whose mother, injured in a car crash, hovers between life and death. The trauma of the accident has revealed Valentine’s ability to talk the language of the animals. Evading his wicked aunt Lavinia, Valentine escapes to a secret island where the animals promise to help him devise a cure. They only need one last secret ingredient from the North Pole, which will turn the potion an unearthly blue. With the help of his newfound friends, Valentine embarks on an extraordinary journey to find the remedy. (media)

Lonely schoolgirl Zoe yearns for some excitement in her life. When her delinquent half brother turns up out of nowhere in the middle of the night, she finally has someone in her life she can relate to. Straight out of prison and ready to make up his own rules, Luke explodes the suburban torpor of the family household. Soon both he and Zoe are at odds with her repressive parents. After they are discovered in an illicit kiss, Zoe persuades Luke to let her run away with him. Before long Zoe finds herself entangled on a dangerous journey on the road to elsewhere.
