Who we are
198 Films founder Anna Jancsó has extensive experience in television and film in Europe and Latin America. Her work has been broadcast on ARTE, ZDF, NHK, Odissea, Mezzo and Arts Channel Australia and gained prestigious recognition, amongst them the FIPA D’Or and Film London “London Calling” awards. Based in London, Anna produces shorts and features out of the UK and Hungary as an independent producer and also works with Adventure Pictures on a number of projects for Writer/ Director Sally Potter.
Anna’s credits include the IDFA Bertha Fund backed feature documentary El Destello co-produced with AMC Networks Iberia; the ARTE/ZDF title A Different Way; the Film London short Little Solider by Stella Corradi, starring Zawe Ashton and with photography by Robbie Ryan; Arran Shearing’s Forgotten Man premiered in the US at Cinequest; and Sally Potter’s The Party with Patricia Clarkson, Bruno Ganz, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emily Mortimer, Cillian Murphy, Timothy Spall and Cherry Jones.
