FLURRIED PRESS REACTION TO FORGOTTEN MAN LONDON PREMIERE<\/h4>\n

\"\"There has been a flurry of articles in the British press following the European premiere of Forgotten Man, produced by 198 Films’s Anna Jancs\u00f3.<\/p>\n

The film is the first feature of\u00a0Canadian director Arran Shearing, and paints the portrait of social and class division in contemporary London through the tale of a homeless actor, who falls for a wealthy girl.<\/p>\n

Jerry Hall, who has a part in the film, was accompanied to the East End Film Festival Premiere by her husband Rupert Murdoch, to the shock and surprise of the festival and the filmmakers. Murdoch was greeted with what the Guardian’s Marina Hyde calls a “good old-fashioned East End welcome”.<\/p>\n

Stella Corradi’s Little Soldier, produced by Anna Jancs\u00f3 as part of an all-female production team, has been launched today to audiences under the Vimeo Staff Pick label. The film was picked up by the video sharing and hosting\u00a0service at New York’s Athena Film Festival, where Little Soldier played earlier this year.<\/p>\n

198 Films founder Anna Jancs\u00f3 is\u00a0among 10 European producers selected for the 2016 Producers Lab Toronto. The event takes place during\u00a0TIFF\u00a0between\u00a0September 6-9.
\nNow in its seventh year, the initiative for emerging producers is run by European Film Promotion in collaboration with Ontario Media Development Corporation and Toronto International Film Festival.
